Once again, the Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Louisiana (MEPOL) at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette earned high marks by the National Manufacturing Extension Partnership in two categories.

For the first quarter of 2008, MEPOL ranked fifth for percent quantified impact and sixth in the nation for impacted clients.

One year after a project is completed, an outside company surveys the MEP clients to rate each center's delivery of service and performance. Federal funding requires a score of 85 for the Minimally Acceptable Impact Measures (MAIMS). MEPOL has scored 100 percent for MAIMS for the last 17 quarters.

There are 58 MEP Centers in the United States and Puerto Rico that provide innovative technical and business solutions for manufacturers.
