What’s new in Louisiana fiction? What’s worth a second look? Find out in an exhibit currently running in the Louisiana Room of Dupre Library at UL Lafayette.
Louisiana Room Librarian Jean Kiesel assembled a variety of books, book jackets and literary magazines celebrating the creativity of fiction authors who write about Louisiana.
The display cases in the Louisiana Room showcase works of fiction for children and adults. The works on display include short stories, historical fiction and romance concerning Louisiana characters from several ethnic backgrounds.
While books from the Louisiana Room do not circulate, second copies of some titles can be found in the circulating collection at the library or other libraries in the area.
